Fourteen years have passed but we still remember your birthday each year. Bittersweet.
It's hard to say I'm grateful with this post. A life taken or I should say, murdered, what can I be grateful for. The only thing I can come up with is being grateful for the friends and community being so close during this time and God giving me (and everyone else) strength to get through.
Hard to believe its been 14 years and even harder to believe she would have been 27 this year.

ReplyDeleteNope it sure doesn't especially when lives were taken due to a brutal murder.

ReplyDeleteWe're grateful we got the opportunity to know them and to have them in our lives. It's hard, but I try my best to over power the thoughts of their murder by the wonderful memories we had with them.
Hard to believe Adrian would have been 27. I can still remember her talking about being so excited that she was going to be a teenager. It was a big deal to her and a milestone she didn't get to experience along with many others.
