Picture Dump:

Since this is my last day at Weidinger Chevrolet, I thought I'd better clean my files out.
Some of these I just haven't posted and others are my favorites.  Like the one Mom and the one of Iva laying in the sunlight; looks like a little angel.
I love you, Momma.

Oh, how I miss you Wayne.

I'm grateful for the two years I spent here at Weidinger Chevrolet, but looking forward to the new job in Finance at The City of Rolla.

Weekend Update:

We had a very nice weekend.  Friday, we just stayed  home and watched TV.
Saturday:
Dad came by for a visit.  We were invited to my nephew, Wayne's house for a fish fry for Father's Day.  It was only Wayne, Deonne, Dad, Dwayne and me.  We had a very good afternoon visiting.
Sunday:
We had a barbecue for our kids and Dad for Father's Day.  We then sat on the front porch watching Cash drive the Ford truck.  Sometimes he took Iva for a ride.  She loved it.

The kids playing.

My 92  year old Dad and me.

It was such a nice day out Sunday and we thoroughly enjoyed the front porch.
I am so grateful for my family and especially to still have my Dad with us.

New Job:

I finally found a new job.  I start July 3rd in Finance and Accounting for The City of Rolla.  I am looking forward to the change.  (Although, I'm a little nervous)
I currently work at Weidinger Chevrolet as a title clerk and answering the phone.  The work is okay but I get very bored.  If there's not a contract to type up, I have nothing to do and the day gets very long.  I need a job that keeps me busy and stimulated.  Weidinger's have been very good to me, but it's time for a change.

I am grateful my prayers were answered and I got a new job.

Weekend Update:

Friday:
Went by Dad's after work and fixed his supper.  He's still not feeling the best.
Saturday:
I went to St. Elizabeth to pick up Cash.  Iva is such a Momma's girl, I didn't even get to hold her.  That's ok, April was the same way.
Cash wasn't as excited to see the truck as I thought he would be.  He had almost fell asleep on the way over so he wasn't too perky yet.  Once he figured out he could ride it he was all smiles.  It was such a beautiful day out with a nice breeze.  We stayed on the front porch all afternoon and watched Cash ride.  He had a great time.
We went to Todd and Michelle's for a visit.  They have a contract on their house and are going to be living in the camper.  They have it fixed up really cute.  They'll live in it while they're building a new house.
We then went to Sput's for supper.  Not really any people we knew there.  Had a good meal.
Watched cartoons and then to bed.
Sunday:
I had planned to have a family meal.  Todd and Michelle had company, Chad was at the river and Mike was hauling hay.  Instead, we went to Maid-Rite's.  Iva ate almost half a hamburger.  She sure likes her food.  We then went to Lion's Club Park.

Iva loved the swings.  She would shake her head no when we tried to get her out.

The kids fell asleep on the way home from Rolla, so April decided to go on home so she didn't have to get them out and then have to leave.
After they left, Dwayne watched TV and I took a long nap.

I am so grateful for these visits with the kids.

Ford F150:

We bought a riding toy for the house.  It will be for all the grandkids (if we get anymore).
Naturally, we decided on a Ford F150.  I text April and told her she would never guess what Nana and Pa had bought.  Her response was, either a Ford Truck or a Gator.  She's too smart.
It took three hours to put the thing together.  The decals were quite tricky.  If you didn't get them placed just right you would have a wrinkle.  Well, Dwayne messed up the big decal on the windshield and it has three big wrinkles on it!  But Cash will never notice.
I'm going over to pick up Cash tomorrow and keep him overnight.  I can't wait to see how excited Cash will be.

I am grateful we are able to enjoy our grandkids.

Iva's Birthday Weekend.

We started our weekend with going to Sput's Thursday night.
Friday, Dwayne worked late on our tractor (which is very old!)
Saturday:
I went to Penney's and then on to St. James to my high school friend, Kathy Kleffner's house.  She made a couple cakes for Iva.  Kathy and I went to school together.  It was nice to visit.

Dwayne came home from the field and then we left.  Stopped in Vienna for Amanda Hutchison's baby shower.  She thought she couldn't have kids and was pleased to find out she was having a baby.  So happy for her.
We then went to Mike and April's for Iva's Birthday Part.  She enjoyed it very much.  The other kids had fun too.

April's bench I redid for Iva.

I think I got confused transferring pictures.  Tried to remove the duplicates but couldn't get Blogger to work.
As you can tell from the pictures, we all had a very good time.
Sunday:
Went and mowed Dad's yard.  It hadn't been mowed this year and was a bit tricky getting around everything.
Came home and got ready to go to my cousin, John Williams' funeral in Cuba.  My google map took me to the wrong location and I also had the wrong church.  When I got to Faith Chapel, there was no one there.  The Regional Record on the radio had said Faith Chapel.  It wasn't, it was at Deer Creek.  Needless to say, I missed the funeral.  I really hate that, John and I had become close in the last few years.
While I was in Cuba, I thought I'd go visit an old friend of mine from working together at Head Start, Barbara Stringer.  We had such a good time working, the laughter overflowed constantly.  Some people thought we didn't do our work because we had so much fun.  Wasn't the case, we did our jobs.  It was so good to see Barb.  We picked up right where we left off.  I automatically called Barb when my brother drowned three years ago.  Miss the good old days.
I am so grateful for my little granddaughter and visiting with an old (not as in old in age) friend.
