Susan Elrod Greene wrote and read a beautiful tribute honoring her Aunt Jessie Workman. I sat by Susan during the ceremony and she was nervous about getting up in front of everyone. Susan did a wonderful job of reading and did not break down at all, but briefly when she got back to her seat.
Susan helped to make the service more personal as we saw glimpses into the relationship of Jessie to nieces, nephews, etc.
In addition to Karen Alden doing a wonderful eulogy celebrating Jessie's life, Susan also shared precious memories of their family.
