Saturday we went to St. Elizabeth for Mike's brother, Randy's wedding to Elizabeth Hoeller.
It was a beautiful wedding.

April & Elizabeth
Since we didn't know too many people to visit with for the whole afternoon, we left and went to April and Mike's. I watched TV and Dwayne went to the river to hunt for mushrooms. He did pretty good, he found twenty.
We then headed back up for the reception. We were sitting at a table with people we didn't know and Mike's cousin, Missy came over and asked us to sit with them at their table. I had met Missy, her Mom Dee and sister AnnaBeth last summer at April's bridal shower. Such a nice group of people. Mike also had three uncles sitting at the table. We heard alot of stories on the older Holtmeyers growning up. Missy handed us her baby, Anastyn to hold while she ate. She is six months old and quite a little beauty. (like her Mom) We did pretty good with her until she got tired and nothing doing but she then wanted her Mom.
Argyle Catering did the meal and once again they did a great job. We stayed for the dance and sat with Mike's Mom, Dad, Grandma and a couple aunts along with April. We had a great day.
On our way home, we stopped in Vienna and picked up Desmon. He hadn't been over to the house in awhile.

Sunday:
Sunday morning, Dwayne fixes scrambled eggs, ham and toast. A good breakfast.
Dwayne and Desmon then set out to go mushroom hunting. This brings about the same excitement as deer hunting. Must be a guy thing.
I went to church and spent the afternoon catching up around the house.
Mid-afternoon, Dwayne and Desmon came in. They had only found one mushroom.
We then went to Road Kill Grill for a late lunch.
Overall, we had a nice relaxing weekend visiting with new family and friends.
I am grateful for our extended St. Elizabeth family and the opportunity to help guide a little boy who sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of life.
