Gold Fish:

My brother got married (for the first time........) in 1971.  I was in the wedding and spent the night with my cousin, Beverly at their farm.  The next day we went to her other grandma's in Freeburg and from there we took a drive down a gravel road.  There was a huge clear (at that time) lake in a lime quarry that had huge gold fish.  They were beautiful and we watched them for quite some time. I had always wanted to go back and see the gold fish.  Forty-two years later-and I finally get back there.
Dwayne and I had gone to the bank in Freeburg and took a drive down that same road.  I was a little disappointed to see the "lake" is no longer there but a more dried up version of it.  There were some gold fish there but you could barely see them and there was a lot of moss.  I was glad to go back but when you build up this vision in your head that something will still look the same years later, it's kind of disappointing.

I am grateful for the beautiful scenery God has provided.
