We don't have our dinner until Sunday so Dwayne and I were on our own. We went out for breakfast and then worked at the rental house.
Friday:
Regular word day. Poor Dwayne has been working ten hour days plus driving back and forth from St. Louis.
Saturday:
I've been working part-time at Something Special Florist and they asked me to come in to give me a Thanksgiving centerpiece. They are so nice to work for.
I spent the morning running errands and buying groceries. Spent the afternoon making pies and prepping for Sunday dinner.
Todd and Michelle invited us down to a wiener roast and bonfire. It was a little cold out so we didn't last too long.
Sunday:
Dwayne got up early to put the turkey in to cook. That's always his job. Spent the morning making dressing and all other side dishes. We had a very good day except we missed Cody and his family. Their baby, Jayce was sick and went to the ER the nigh before. Thankfully, he is feeling better.

Monday
Since Momma passed away, we've been meeting at Dad's for prayer meeting on Sunday night. Afterwards, Lizzy and Nathan usually come home with me.
Mom and Dad's house burned years ago. We have some tiles that were on the fireplace hearth. Liz and Nathan were wanting to do something with them. We decided to paint them and next Spring we will go clean around the tombstone and put them in front. They had a good time trying to put meaning into each tile.
Overall, we had a good Thanksgiving week and have so much to be thankful for.
